    Soccer Popularity in United States
Soccer is the world’s sport. It’s played in almost all seven continents but it wasn't something popular in the United States. Now as we near the future, it is visible that soccer is now a popular sport to Americans and that soccer events would be seen as important as if it were a Super Bowl. Soccer has reached this state of popularity through the following ways: 1) Professional Soccer players; 2) The National United States Team; and 3) Local Soccer clubs or academies.

Finally, the last way in which soccer has become more popular is through soccer clubs/academies. They're events in which clubs and academies come to local communities to introduce the sport to those who don't know about it. A recent event that happened is the beginning of a soccer club in New York that will participate in the MLS. The team will go by New York City F.C. . It has the same goal as the previous examples, to popularize the sport. As stated by the Mayor of New York City,Michael R. Bloomberg, “ Soccer is one of the world’s most exciting and popular sports, and it should be played on the world’s biggest stage”. This club could make New York a soccer state. Many New Yorkers are anxious to see what this team will be like and if it will give a chance to future stars.

In conclusion, Soccer has become more popular. It is played now and hopefully it will be seen a national sport. If more players and teams come to America to express the sport they are professionals at, it is possible that soon every one will be playing this wonderful sport called soccer.

Sequencing DNA has tremendously advanced now since first discovered because of the Human Genome Project. In “Human Genome Project, Then and Now” Gina Kolata asserts that the human genome project was an expensive research operation that took over 8 years to complete. The Science researchers put together many peoples DNA so that they could have an outcome of 3 billion letters in the genetic code. This would make science easier for the next generation. In “All about the Human Genome Project (HGP)” it says that this was the study of Homo Sapiens (humans) and inside the body rather than a study of space and things that is out of this world. It also ensures that doctors discovered new traits and new things about human and animals alike.

DNA sequencing has advanced dramatically since it was first discovered to how it is now when the scientists discovered DNA sequencing and the first few people had there DNA sequenced. In “Discovery of DNA: Structure and Function Watson and Crick” Leslie A. Pray states that a Swiss chemist named Friedrich Miescher discovered DNA in the 1860’s although many believe that it was James Watson and Francis Crick. DNA sequencing has more to do with Fredrick Sanger and Walter Gilbert than those 3 because they were the ones that played a major role in the sequencing of DNA. In “Dr. Marjolein Kriek, First Woman to have her DNA Sequence Determined” Christopher Coats asserts that Dr. Kriek was the first European woman to have her DNA sequenced. “Dr. Kriek joins DNA pioneer James Watson as one of the five people to have had their DNA sequence determined. Craig Venter, also a gene researcher, has had his DNA sequenced, followed by two African men.” DNA sequencing has advanced dramatically since it was first discovered by Freidrick, Watson, Crick, Sanger and Gilbert and since the first people got there DNA sequenced.

Human activity reduces bee population. They use cell phones, even though they may not know, that somehow harm bees. This can be proven in “Study links bee decline to cellphones” by Sasha Herriman. She stated that in a study scientist put active cellphones in a hive for 30 minutes each day. After 3 months, they noticed the bee stopped producing honey, bee egg production. Soon the size of the hive had reduced. Another way this can be proven is in “Mobile phones responsible of disappearance of honey bee”. Dean Nelson asserted that Mobile phones are a key factor in the phenomenon and that it probably interferes with the bee’s navigation senses.
The bee population is declining because humans cause cell phone radiation while using their phones. They may not recognize but it decreases bee reproduction and stops the production of honey. This is shown by the articles “bee decline to cellphones” and “mobile phone responsible of disappearance”.

    and pbs.org.
Human action is contributed to the decreasing of bee population in the following ways: 1) humans make pesticides and insecticides that exterminate bees, for they are afraid of getting stung (Bees don’t always sting because they could die from it) 2) Others use mobile phones that while calling can release radiation that declines bee reproduction and damage their senses 3) they decrease bee biodiversity or habitat to make space for buildings, houses, etc. Humans should change the things they do in their environment because without bees our environment would be unstable no surplus food. This could drastically lead to extinction.

World War II gave women the chance to help the United States rather than being at home all day.
350,000 women served in the U.S. Armed Forces, as WASPs. The government wanted to encourage women to help by starting the Rosie the Riveter propaganda campaign. The campaign’s most famous propaganda was Rosie with the caption “We can do it”.
