About Emerson College
120 Boylston Street, Boston, MA 02116-4624 (617) 824-8500. It is a private school, four-year and co-ed. Every year 47% applicants admitted. There is 17% In-state students and 83% Out-of-state students.There is 64% Women and 36% Men. Also there is a mixture of ethnic people such as 4% Asian, 3% Black or African American, 11% Hispanic/Latino, 1% Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, 60% White, 6% Two or more races and 4% Non-Resident Alien.
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars because there is variation of ethnic people and a mixture of in state and out of state kids. Also there is a lot of women in that school. And it is far away from home.

Getting in (grades and test you need to get in, finicial aid and room and board):
Did you know to get in Emerson college that your avarage must a B 80% or better? There is 41% in top 10th of graduating class, 76% in the top quarter of the graduating class and 94% in the top half of the graduationg class. There are also 3,450 undergraduates at Emerson college. To get in this school you need to take some test such as the SAT: Critical Reading ,SAT: Math ,SAT: Writing and ACT: Composite. Mostly everybody at Emerson has GPA of 3.5 and higher. To live on campus on Emerson as an out of state student cost $47,056 including room and board and books and supplies, not including person expenses. Emerson meets 75% of need of financial aid.

Academics (majors the school has, class size, access to professors, special programs):
At Emerson college there is alot different majors for example Communication/Journalism, Visual and Performing Arts, English and Business Marketing. There is about 20 kids in a class, thats very small class so it is very easy to to reach your professor. Some degrees they offer Certificate bachelor's, master's and doctoral.

Student life (social life at the school, housing, fraternities and sororities, sport):
Emerson college is a urban setting. There is 500,000 residents living on campus. That means 99% live on campus. At Emerson there is 2% men in fraternities and 3% sororities. Also there is a housing desposite 500 dollars. And there 55% undergrats. At Emerson there is different activities such as dance, model u.n, film society and drama and also much more. Also there are alot of different sports at Emerson such as baseball, basketball and gulf and much more. All there sports and activities are division 3 and mostly all the there sports are co-ed.
Rating 5 out of 5 stars because it urban life-style and there is alot of people of people that live on campus.There is even fraternities and sorities which is awesome!
My comfort level (getting back and forth, demographics, setting):
The setting is very urban meaning its very city enviorment. If you rather going back and forth to school it would take 3 hours and 57 min if your using a car. Rating 4 out 5 stars because its urban and if you want to travel out of state to get to college it would take you a long time. Also
there is variation of ethnic people and a mixture of in state and out of state kids and there is a lot of women in that school.
